| On-site broadcasting refers to the video and web production being done on site. In remote situations where the internet may be the only thing lacking, we can supply the proper hardware on-site to do the event as if it was being held in an arena like environment. We do this by simply remotely supplying whatever is needed on site. Typically these are event sites that are somewhat friendly to forms of wireless technology. In the US open air events usually use this model.

An off-site production unit is usually to broadcast from areas that are considered dead zones for technology. This is usually areas that have very little to no infrastructure to sustain any type of webcast. This is generally found in poverty stricken areas or extremely rural areas of modern nations. In this case we skip the local infrastructure all together and beam the raw footage from the camera work on site to a more modern location for live production and to distribute the stream. Whether your area supports on-site or off site broadcasting Flash Live Media will do our best to ensure your webcast is not degraded in any way by the events location.

Another unique feature of our webcasts is our ability to offer our streams to a worldwide audience and guarantee optimal performance. We can accomplish this because we have a massive worldwide CDN (content delivery network) that has servers all over the world ready to stream your content. Without such a network all your users would just see choppy video. |
